Child Safety Standards

Creto has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Here's what we prohibit, how to report it, and what we do.

Effective 15 October 2026 · Version 1

Child safety standards page (draft) Google Play needs a public page with Creto's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) for apps in the Social category (Play Console › App content › Child safety standards). This is a draft for the website's legal pages: in the admin, add a page with the fields below, check it, and publish it. Then the Play declaration takes https://creto.app/legal/child-safety and support@creto.app as the contact.

Before publishing, check the points marked Confirm: they describe what Creto's team does, which the code doesn't show.

Title: Child Safety Standards Address (slug): child-safety Summary: Creto has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Here's what we prohibit, how to report it, and what we do. Body (markdown) Creto has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses Creto: fans, creators and brands, in calls, chats, voice notes, photos, videos, documents, profiles and reels.

Creto is for adults

Creto is only for people aged 18 and over. Nobody under 18 may create an account, and creators must be 18 or over to be verified. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.

What's prohibited

  • Any content that sexualises a minor, including images, videos, audio, text, drawings and AI-generated or altered content
  • Sharing, requesting, selling or linking to child sexual abuse material
  • Grooming: building a relationship with a minor, or with an adult in order to reach a minor, for sexual purposes
  • Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate images of anyone, of any age
  • Trafficking, or any offer of sexual services involving a minor
  • Using Creto to contact, meet or arrange to meet a minor

How to report

  • In the app: open the person's profile, or the call or chat, tap Report, and choose a reason. Reports go straight to Creto's safety team. You can also block the person, which ends calls and chats between you.
  • By email: write to support@creto.app with the subject "Child safety", and include the person's Creto name or handle and what happened. Don't attach or forward the material itself.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first (112 in India). You can also report child sexual abuse material to India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.

What we do

  • Our safety team reviews child safety reports first.
  • We remove the content and suspend the account, which signs it out everywhere and stops it signing in again.
  • We keep the evidence we're required to keep, and report it to law enforcement and the relevant authorities as Indian law requires, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.

Contact

Creto's child safety point of contact can be reached at support@creto.app. They can speak about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance. Confirm before publishing

Report reasons. The app's report reasons are harassment, sexual, hate, scam, spam, impersonation and other; there's no "child safety" reason. The page tells people to pick a reason, which is accurate. A dedicated "Child safety" reason that the admin's Reports page puts first would match "reviews child safety reports first" better.

Age. The app doesn't ask people to confirm they're 18 or over at sign-up; the page relies on the Terms. Make sure the Terms say 18+, or add a confirmation at sign-up.

Reporting to authorities. "We report it to law enforcement" is a commitment: the team needs to know how (cybercrime.gov.in, the local police), and who does it.

Contact. support@creto.app must reach someone who can speak about this.
